Manager Pep Guardiola has already set his sights on what Manchester City will look like next season.

City
finished the season by beating Arsenal and Liverpool to win the Premier League title. The win was the Etihad club's fourth consecutive league title and the sixth under Guardiola's tenure.

There
was a sense of disappointment at the end of the season after City lost to Manchester United in the FA Cup final. Guardiola's team also missed out on a Champions League place after losing in the quarter-finals to eventual winners Real Madrid. City are already preparing for next season. This includes potential transfers, with several rumours already circulating about a possible new contract or a possible departure.

Ederson
has been heavily linked with a move away from Etihad this summer, with Saudi Pro League clubs reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian, but it remains to be seen whether he will still be a City player at the start of the season.

City
have Stephane Ortega in their squad, who impressed when called up this season. However, they may still be hoping to fend off interest from Saudi Arabia while still being able to land Ederson.

As
far as new signings go, only Bruno Guimaraes has been linked with City. The Newcastle star has been rumoured to be moving away from St James' Park due to the club's financial situation after missing out on European qualification.

If
City were to sign Guimaraes, he could be one of the first names on the midfield teamsheet alongside Rodri and Kevin de Bruyne. Guardiola also has Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunez, Rico Ruiz and Julian Alvarez at his disposal, all of whom could play in midfield if needed.
